We wanted to publicly address the state of operations as concerns with cyber security has become somewhat of a hot issue in the news. Our Los Angeles-based hosting and Charlotte-based backups are no exception.
Behind the scenes for the past few months we have already been transitioning to a system that will allow us to quickly scan and secure new WordPress clients if you are coming from another host to our business hosting or addressing updates for our WordPress/business clients.
Additional protections like a Web Application Firewall, virus scanning, and smart or AI DDoS protection continue to run as before.
Alongside our daily off-site backups, we've also gone ahead and taken cold storage encrypted backups of all active accounts. We are planning to implement this as a monthly procedure, but are still working out best use of resource allotment.
